Imagine hundreds of diverse leaders discussing, prioritizing and committing to a shared agenda for Lancaster County. Our unique coalition is working with AmericaSpeaks to host a 21st Century Summit, Lancaster 2020 - Shaping our Future. This invitation-only leadership forum to be held on November 11, 2008, will feature facilitated small group discussions and state-of-the-art technology to collect quickly your ideas and priorities. Participants will be diverse in age, gender, ethnicity, race, occupation, and represent all Lancaster County communities.

Our collective knowledge and insight will generate a plan of action to improve our community. The agenda will focus on opportunities within four areas:

• The Well Being of People - health, financial stability, early education, etc.
  
• Physical Surroundings - safety, housing, preservation of resources & open space, etc.
  
• Economic Engine - education and training, infrastructure, business development, etc.
  
• Connections & Collaboration - volunteerism, leadership training, diversity, etc.
